peewee

this is a painting of my favorite dog, Peewee. He unfortunately passed away a couple weeks ago. I miss him, but there was something comforting about painting him with sunflowers :]

For the past year, I’ve been a part-time art teacher at a public elementary school in Brooklyn. This is my last week with my wonderful 1st through 5th grade students. I’m really going to miss them, so I made them a coloring page as a goodbye gift:
